Turn any mangel and carrot skeptics in your house into fans with mangel and carrot fries.

Ingredients:
Mangels
Carrots
Chunky sea salt
Olive oil
Fresh thyme

Guidelines
Preheat the oven to 450
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Wash or peel mangels and carrots and cut into thin batons
Put them on the baking sheet without crowding them
Douse generously with olive oil, sea salt and fresh thyme (I just put the sprigs on whole)
Bake for 20 minutes, turning them after 10 minutes
When 20 minutes are up, simply turn off the oven and let them continue cooking
They will be crispy, salty, and sweet
