I love pizza and I love to make it now that I got over my fear of dough.

For the sauce, I use the Heirloom roasted tomatoes—a staple in my weekly basket. Let them simmer with oregano and garlic and a touch of sugar until they reduce to pizza sauce consistency. Top the pizza with your Bryson Farms veg.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (any number of simple recipes are on Pinterest)
  • For the sauce:
    • Heirloom roasted tomatoes
    • Garlic
    • Dried oregano and basil
    • Pinch of sugar

Toppings on this pizza:

  • Soppressata sausage from Seed to Sausage
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh mozzarella
  • Mushrooms
  • Purple onion
  • Red pepper

Guidelines

Preheat oven to 475

  • Roll out your dough and spread it on an oiled baking sheet or pizza pan
  • Spread the tomato sauce on the dough
  • Sprinkle on the cheese
  • Top with the veg
  • Bake for about 15 minutes
