Raab/Rapini

Rapini (also known as Broccoli Rape

[or Raab], Broccoletti, Broccoli di Rape, Cime di Rapa, Rappi, Friarielli, and Grelos) is a wonderful Fall crop. Sweet, broccoli-like, it can be enjoyed raw, steamed, or in a stir-fry. The ENTIRE plant is edible – flowers, leaves, flowers, buds, stems. Sometimes yellow flowers adorn the crowns!

We grow many varieties of this family of vegetables – some from Europe – others from Asia. Each variety has its own unique flavour but they all look generally the same. Enjoy!
